On the 12th day of June, A.D., one thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven, personally appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace within and for the County and State aforesaid LEVI WEVER, age 73 years, a resident of Greenwich in the State of New York who being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is the identical LEVI WEVER who was a private in the Company commanded by Capt. J. Hay in the 50th Regiment of Infantry commanded by Pvt. John M Ollany in the war with Great Britain, declared by the United States on the 12th day of June 1812. |
